You have probably heard about crabbing before but you possibly don’t know what it is or more importantly why dogs do it. Crabbing is when a dog isn’t walking or running in a straight line and they favour either the left or right. An easy way to explain it is you imagine you are going down a path and there is a line drawn down the middle of the path, the dogs front paws would be one side of the line and their back paws on the opposite side. Ideally their front and back paws would be on the line.

So why do dogs crab?
