There are many reasons why it is beneficial to do extra training to help condition our dogs. The more conditioning work you do, the more your dog learns how to use their body and it lessens the risk of injury.

So why does my dog need to learn where their feet are? Surely they know!

Well… no. Have you ever watched dogs run and they suddenly fall over because they have basically tripped over their own paws? Have you ever watched a video of your dog running and seen them loose their paws from underneath them? These are quite common things to happen. By teaching your dogs how to use their legs and paws individually from each other, when things like this happens they will have learnt to use their body in a way that helps them keep their balance and recover.
