Zero DC ‘Cross’ Sports Harness

Description

The latest in x-back dog harness design from Europe, this harness directs pull away from the throat, hugging the body without restricting lung capacity.

The Cross harness is padded throughout to prevent fur rub and has reflective elements in the whole harness, so the dog is lit up from all directions.

The Cross harness also features a self adjusting system at the back of the harness in the case of your dog not pulling directly in front of you.

K9 Trail Time recommends this harness for canicross, bikejor, scootering, dry land mushing and skijoring. If set-up correctly, the line angle for canicross, bikejor and scootering is fine.

However, we have found this harness to be more suited to narrow, lean breeds of dog and because of this the fit need to be correct or it can be too long on more muscled and stockier dogs when the neck size is correct for the dog.

If this harness is too long it will put downward pressure on the dogs’ hips so correct length is important on this harness. We recommend this harness for strong pulling dogs as it works best when the dog keeps a constant tension on the line.

For measuring please take the following:

1 = Neck – measure where the collar would sit on your dog

2 = Chest – measure the ribs at the broadest part
