Includes:
Initial 2-hour consultation (worth £120) – A 2-hour initial face-to-face consultation with Emily at her base in Gloucestershire which will include a full assessment of any canicross kit already in use OR a fitting session to determine which equipment is best suited for your dog (please note any kit will need to be purchased separately). The consultation will also involve a gait assessment of your dog to check for anything that may affect your dog’s running style or the equipment you use. We will also then be able to spend a bit of time working on your initial canicross cues and you will get some training tips to take away and work on.
The Canicross Foundations Course online (worth £99) – The foundations of canicross set out for you in our 4-week course so you can learn everything you need to know to get started canicrossing with your dog, including
- When you can start canicrossing with your dog and what factors to consider to ensure you and your dog avoid injury
- Selecting the best equipment for you and your dog as individuals, including fitting of the harness and belt
- Getting started training with your voice cues and top techniques & tips for training
- The best places to go canicrossing and how to get more from your runs
- Learn how to set yourself goals to achieve all the things you want to with your dog
